Description

Because "Lovedale" is an unusual name this graph is a good (accurate) result, not like an attempt for "concretions" which mainly returned re concrete instead. "Lovedale" was the school for girls by Mrs Love, advertised in days of old as "LOVEDALE - Mrs Love's school at Concord, opposite Kissing Point". I am compiling "THE CHANGES ALONG
THE POWELL'S CREEK WETLANDS. ~ * ~ AND THE INCOMPLETE
DESTRUCTION OF THE "DISMAL SWAMP". The area being one of wetlands (mangrove swamps and saltmarsh) situated at the head of Homebush Bay and on its eastern side. Lovedale is part of that story and it was situated very near the wetlands edge and west of the present day Concord West railway station. Would appreciate hearing at john.mail at ozemail.com.au of any other interests of anyone's in the area or anywhere else around Hombush Bay.
